neotherapy

Chi Nei Tsang (transl. internal organs chi transformation) is an ancient Chinese healing touch modality originally developed by Taoist monks and nuns to detoxify, strengthen and refine the body in order to maintain the fine energy required to perform the highest levels of spiritual practices. Lost during the Chinese Cultural Revolution, it was rediscovered and further developed by Master Mantak Chia.

Combining classical Taoist Chinese medicine, traditional internal medical Thai massage and Western holistic medicine, Chi Nei Tsang works mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft and gentle touches to release deep-seated tension, stagnant and congested energy and to train internal organs to work more efficiently.

The Uses of Chi Nei Tsang:

Detoxification: Chi Nei Tsang manipulations help relieve the body of excess stagnation, improving elimination and stimulating the lymphatic and the circulatory systems. Chi Nei Tsang also strengthens the immune system and resistance to diseases.

Restructuring and Strengthening: Because it addresses the visceral structures and positioning of the internal organs, Chi Nei Tsang stimulates them to work better and also helps correct the postural problems resulting from visceral imbalances.

Release from Emotional Pattern/Habit: Unprocessed emotions are stored in the digestive system waiting to be addressed. Chi Nei Tsang facilitates the unfolding of emotions and clarification of our emotional life.

A typical Chi Nei Tsang treatment session is approximately 60 minutes.
